Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:30
On Call: 1 week in every 6

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a varied role involving both breakdown work and workshop-based maintenance and repairs. You will often be working independently, so confidence in your skills and the ability to make clear decisions on-site are essential.

The ideal candidate will be:
- Qualified as an HGV technician/mechanic
- Experienced in servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Honest, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to carry out breakdown call-outs and workshop repairs confidently

- Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications (£45,000-£55,000)

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on HGVs
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance
- Attend roadside breakdowns and complete call-outs efficiently
- Work safely and to a high standard at all times
- Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with customers and the team
